Poste Italiane comunica che oggi, 16 ottobre 2025, viene emesso dal Ministero delle Imprese e del Made in Italy un francobollo appartenente alla serie tematica “I valori sociali” dedicato alla FAO, nell’80° anniversario, relativo al valore della tariffa B zona 1 pari a 1,35€.

Tiratura: 250.020 esemplari
Foglio: 45 esemplari

Il francobollo è stampato dall’Istituto Poligrafico e Zecca dello Stato S.p.A., in rotocalcografia, su carta bianca patinata neutra, autoadesiva con imbiancante ottico. Il bozzetto è a cura della FAO e ottimizzato dal Centro Filatelico dell’Officina Carte Valori e Produzioni Tradizionali dell’Istituto Poligrafico e Zecca dello Stato S.p.A.

La vignetta raffigura, in primo piano, il logo dell’80° anniversario della FAO, Organizzazione delle Nazioni Unite per l’Alimentazione e l’Agricoltura, fondata il 16 ottobre 1945, che richiama gli Obiettivi di Sviluppo Sostenibile, il marchio istituzionale della FAO e il motto “Fiat panis”, rappresentato simbolicamente dalla spiga di grano integrata nel numero 80. Sullo sfondo, è riprodotta la sede FAO di Roma, nello storico quartiere Aventino, con la bandiera dell’ONU che svetta in alto a sinistra.

Completano il francobollo la legenda “ANNIVERSARIO”, la scritta “ITALIA” e l’indicazione tariffaria “B zona 1”.

L’annullo primo giorno di emissione sarà disponibile presso l’Ufficio Postale di Roma V.R.

È stata realizzata anche una cartella filatelica contenente il francobollo, la quartina, la cartolina affrancata e annullata, la busta primo giorno di emissione e il bollettino illustrativo.

Il francobollo e i prodotti filatelici correlati (cartoline, tessere e bollettini illustrativi) saranno disponibili presso gli Uffici Postali con sportello filatelico, gli “Spazio Filatelia” di Firenze, Genova, Milano, Napoli, Roma, Roma 1, Torino, Trieste, Verona e sul sito www.filatelia.poste.it.

Poste Italiane announces that on 16 October 2025, the Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy is issuing a postage stamp as part of the thematic series “Social Values” dedicated to the FAO, marking its 80th anniversary. The stamp corresponds to the B Zone 1 rate of €1.35.

The stamp is printed by the Istituto Poligrafico e Zecca dello Stato S.p.A. using rotogravure on neutral coated white paper, self-adhesive with optical whitener. The design was created by FAO and optimized by the Philatelic Center of the Banknote Printing and Traditional Production Division of the Istituto Poligrafico e Zecca dello Stato S.p.A.

The vignette features, in the foreground, the logo of FAO’s 80th anniversary — the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations, founded on 16 October 1945 — which recalls the Sustainable Development Goals, the FAO institutional emblem, and the motto “Fiat panis”, symbolically represented by a wheat ear integrated into the number 80. In the background is the FAO headquarters in Rome’s historic Aventine district, with the United Nations flag waving in the upper left.

The stamp is completed with the words “ANNIVERSARY”, “ITALIA”, and the denomination “B zone 1”.

The first-day postmark will be available at the Rome V.R. Post Office.

A philatelic folder has also been produced containing the stamp, a block of four, a stamped and postmarked postcard, a first-day cover, and an illustrated brochure.

The stamp and related philatelic products (postcards, cards, and illustrated brochures) will be available at post offices with philatelic counters, at “Spazio Filatelia” locations in Florence, Genoa, Milan, Naples, Rome, Rome 1, Turin, Trieste, Verona, and on the website www.filatelia.poste.it.
